The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization consisting of individuals, firms, and corporations engaged in business or professions of individuals of good repute not engaged in business who wish to work together for the good of the industrial, business, agricultural, and educational communities in this community.
This chamber of commerce is a "clearinghouse of information" for our community. The local chamber works to advance commercial, industrial, civic and general interests of the Edmonton-Metcalfe County trade area. The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce’s objective is "to promote pride and progress in Metcalfe County through the cooperation of its citizens."
The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce is the largest chamber in the state of Kentucky for an area of this population base. We are proudly known as the biggest "little" chamber of commerce in the Commonwealth. The Chamber strives to get "Good News" about our community on the radio, newspapers, and television. Ribbon cutting ceremonies are conducted for the chamber members who open a new business or have remodeled an older business.
Welcoming new businesses and new residents to the community is another service of the local chamber. New residents are given a Welcome to Metcalfe County packet filled with information about this community and discounts from many merchants.
The chamber office updates and maintains a Metcalfe County Business Directory listing all the businesses in this county with an address, phone number and contact person.
